If you were wishing that you could listen to your downloaded songs on your ipod without having to use headphones or earbuds then the Bose soundDock might just be what you are looking for. There are basically three types, the SoundDock, the SoundDock portable, and the SoundDock 10. The SoundDock is basically for the ipod, while the SoundDock II is virtually the same except it has an auxiliary input which allows you to connect to any audio device and will work with virtually any ipod product, it comes in silver and gloss black. ThePortable SoundDock is just that, it can be taken anywhere without having to plug into a wall socket and can also connect to any audio device. It comes with a rechargeable Li-on battery which last about three hours, or longer if you keep the volume low. It would be a good idea to buy a spare battery. The SoundDock 10 has a few more features then the other SoundDocks and that is output connection that allows you to watch the movies from your ipod device to your television and there is another accessory called the Bluetooth Dock which Easily allows you to play your stereo Bluetooth music phone through your SoundDock 10 system. The system can store up to six music phones in it's memory.
